Q - Exactly what services do you offer?

A - Dragonfly Services does almost anything that needs doing outdoors! Primarily we provide weekly lawn cutting services and maintain properties for people, businesses and institutions that prefer or need to focus their energy on other things. Additionally we can clear overgrown lots of brush, weeds and trees. We make regular service calls to tidy up litter from parking lots. We can cut down and remove trees provided bucket work is not required. We provide junk removal services of recyclable and compostable materials such as unpainted and non pressure treated wood, branches, brush, plant materials, non contaminated soils or gravels, scrap metals and e-waste (electronics). We can plant a tree, dig and populate a flower bed, overseed, top dress, fertilize, water, pull weeds, cut, trim, edge, sweep, shovel - whatever it takes! Topsoil, gravel, mulch delivered or removed. Patios and walkways installed or replaced. We can paint or stain decks and build or repair decks and fences. Tell us how we can help you! Q - How often will you cut my lawn?

A - Dragonfly Services will arrive every week to check your property. We monitor the average growth in the area and mow accordingly, weather permitting. If you fertilize or water more than the average person, we can accomodate that too. Need a professional, one time cut and trim to ready your premises for a special event? Just call or email us a request. We'll be there ASAP!

Q - Do you lock us into long term contracts?

A - Never! For residential customers we do send out one bill for the entire 6 month season; be it for lawn cutting or snow clearing. Some clients prefer to issue several postdated cheques or have us bill a credit card of up to 4 separate payments throughout the season, or will send periodic e-transfers. There is no obligation to renew after the season has passed. We do save a spot for all previous year clients so just let us know before the season begins if you would like us to return.

Q - How often should I have my lawn aerated?

A - If yours is a natural and healthy lawn - well supplemented with organic matter and benefited by good earthworm activity that never sees any significant traffic on it than the answer may be - never! If kids and pets are storming all over it on a regular basis or the paper and mail delivery people have worn a path straight through the middle of it... then in both spring and autumn is the best scenario. Twice per year, once per year, once every two years, once in a blue moon - you know your lawn; you are the best judge. If you would like a second opinion we are more than happy to provide a complimentary analysis.

Q - Can you deliver topsoil?

A - Yes we can! Screened topsoil, black earth, 3 way mix, natural mulch, colored mulch, gravel, chips 'n dust, river rock - whatever you need! The best part is that we will deliver and install* usually for less then most companies charge to dump it on your front yard and drive away! *Basic installation only with adequate accessibility. Q - How long have you been in business? How do I know that you will do a good job?

A - It's because we are a smaller, family owned company that we have the drive to go above and beyond expectation to ensure everything meets your satisfaction. We want you to be happy so that you will tell someone else about us. Sometimes established companies with poorly paid employees just don't have the same motivation that owner/operators do! We began in 2011 and plan to carry on for a long time to come, and know that a business is built one happy customer at a time!

Q - Are you insured?

A - You bet we are! $ 2 million liability for your protection, all year round. We can provide proof of insurance before any work commences.

Q - If I give you my contact information through your website, does that mean you will constantly call and pester me to buy something from you? Or start sending me junk email left, right and center?

A - Rest assured, that answer is a solid NO! As part of our Integrity Commitment, we do not telemarket and we do not sell or trade your personal information with third parties. We do not bombard you with junk mail or email, nor do we employ any high pressure sales tactics. We will use your information only to respond to your questions or comments. That's it. No obligation, no worry, no hassle!
